Motia
MOTIA, also GAZI
A low class of plain weave cotton cloth woven in India from Indian cotton. The various qualities are used for all domestic and clothing needs of the natives. Usually 30-in. to 36-in. wide, 36 to 48 ends and picks per inch, and up to 28's or 30' warp and weft.
